Island Tourism Festival is an annual cultural event organized by the local people to showcase their island beauty, promote tourism and entertainment for islanders. It is held at Port Blair, which is the capital city and attractive central place of Andaman. To facilitate travelers and accommodate throngs up, this festival is further organized in alternate areas such as Wimberlygunj, Wandoor, Shaheed Dweep, Rangat, Mayabunder, Diglipur, Hut Bay, Car Nicobar, Kamorta, Campbell Bay, and so on. This festival is conducted for over ten days continuously.
